Stephanie Chtata, MHA, MBA
Founder and President
Stephanie Chtata is President of SA Benefit Services holding MBA and MHA degrees. Prior to founding SA Benefit Services in 2011, Stephanie was employed with TML IEBP in Austin Texas handling their stop loss insurance department. With over twenty five years’ experience in the health insurance and medical stop loss profession, on the broker, TPA, PBM, and claim administration side of the business, Stephanie’s attention to detail and extensive stop loss expertise provides clients the knowledge and options that best suit their particular self-funded plan needs. Stephanie is known for providing very competitive stop loss options for self-funded entities due to her strong negotiating experience.
Adil Chtata
Co-Founder and COO
Adil Chtata is co-founder and COO at SA Benefit Services, holding a Business Management degree. Previously, Adil was employed in the oil and gas industry for over fifteen years. Adil brings Premium, Billing, Account Management, and operations experience to SA Benefit Services.
Steven Illions
Executive Vice President
Steve Illions directs the sales efforts and marketing strategy of SA Benefit Services, providing medical stop-loss insurance for self-funded entities. Headquartered in San Antonio, Steve operates out of Dallas, Texas and is responsible for leading our business to business customer development efforts throughout the U.S.
Steve manages our Self-Funded group clients and Broker/Consultant, TPA, and vendor partnerships. Previously, Steve served as V.P. of Sales for HHC Group, Medical Stop Loss Regional Sales Specialist for Reliance Standard, and Regional Vice President for National Benefit Resources, a division of United Healthcare. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.
Mackenzie Locke
Implementation and Proposals Manager
Mackenzie joined SA Benefit Services in June 2015 during her High School years. She attends college where she majors in Business Administration. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic makes for a great addition to our team. Having worked in our stop loss claims department and handled stop loss proposals she has gained extensive knowledge in stop loss insurance.
